Tara Dhugana
Tara Dhungana is an employment counselor and a proud father and husband. He is interested in community work and advocacy.
Teddy Al Muktady
Teddy Al Muktady is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ Muslim youth around the world. Through sharing his personal journey, Teddy aims to foster a sense of pride and belonging within the community, and is committed to social change and inclusive advocacy.
Trinh Tran
Trinh is a first generation Vietnamese American and lawyer. She has over a decade of experience representing survivors of violence and persecution around the world, focusing on asylum, refugee resettlement, humanitarian parole, and family reunification.
Tshishiku Henry
Tshishiku Henry is the Refugee Congress Delegate for Washington State, the Founder of Wide World For Refugee, and an Employment Case Manager and Equity Lead at a Seattle-based nonprofit organization. He is passionate about helping and working with immigrants and refugees.
Uchechukwu Onwa
Uchechukwu Onwa is an organizer, trainer, leader, and movement strategist currently working as the National Civic Engagement Coordinator for Black Alliance for Just Immigration. He advocates for policies that uplift marginalized voices and creates spaces where all individuals can not only survive but thrive.
Yahya Khamis
Yahya Arbab Khamis is the Former President of the Sudanese Community of Dayton Ohio and a volunteer for Welcome Dayton Ohio and the AFSC Ohio Program Advisory Committee. He is interested in community work and integration.
Zainab Ihsan
Zainab Ihsan is an academic coordinator working with private and international schools. She is focused on strengthening relationships between refugees and community members, advocating and educating on refugee issues and barriers while serving on various community boards.
