Zulikha Akrami is a Political Science graduate student at Northeastern Illinois University. Currently, she works at Trellus as a Career Services Navigator and is a global goal ambassador at Theirworld. She served as a Community Engagement Researcher at Urban Institutes and held the position of ASA-APA Program Coordinator at the Alliance for Multicultural Community Services. Zulikha, has contributed to publishing opinion pieces on various national and international platforms in both English and Farsi. Her articles primarily center around women, education, and security, with a focus on Afghanistan and the wider region. She is a fellow at Every Women Treaty that actively contributes to the organization’s efforts to advocate for the rights of women and promote gender equality on a global scale.
